August Conferences
Medicity attended the NMiDH24 (Nursing and Midwifery in Digital Health) meeting at the Brisbane Convention Centre on August 3. We got the opportunity to demonstrate our eCaptis platform during the afternoon 90-minute product sessions.
HIC24 (Health Innovation Committee) conference at the Brisbane Convention Centre on August 5 to 7. It was great to see HIC back after COVID. We had lots of health services come and look at our products.
Thank you to all those who attended and stopped at our booth to say hello.
New Medicity Video
We were excited to share our new company video this month. You can find it on our website or our YouTube site. The video provides a summary of who we are and what we do. Be on the look out for our new eCaptis and Eve product explainer videos coming soon!
September Conference
We are excited to be exhibiting at the Australian College of Midwives Conference September 10-12 here in Melbourne. This is the premier conference for midwives in Australia. We will be there to demonstrate our Eve Digital Maternity Platform.
Product News
eCaptis
In this month’s new release there was lots of improved functionality in eCaptis:
Updates to Sex and Gender
You can now add Gender to the patient demographics with options for male, female, non-binary, different form, undefined and prefer not to say.
Sex now has options for male, female, undefined and other.
Sex and Gender can be turned on or off in Management Configuration. You can have either turn on Sex or Gender, have them both on or turn them both off.
We can have both turned on to comply with the new requirement in Victoria for health services to report on Sex at Birth and Gender.
Keep number of items per page
Previously the items per page listed was always 10 by default. When you changed this to 25, 50 or 100, eCaptis automatically reverted the list back 10 when finished.
eCaptis now remembers the value selected for all screens.
Eve
From Patient to Mum!
We recognise that pregnant women are not sick. So, we have made a change to the way we reference the women in the Eve Midwife Portal.
We can now update the configuration to change all the references to “Patient” to “Mum” in the Eve Midwife Portal. Here are some examples. This change does not affect the Eve app.
